Bird Watching, Seal Spotting and more....
Half-day or evening visits are arranged to suit the interests of the group, for example bird watching, seal spotting at Greatham Creek or guided flora & fauna walks through Teesmouth Nature Reserve.
Uniform Groups (e.g Girlguiding, The Scout Association etc) can explore the seashore and give habitats a helping hand by litter picking. It may even help them earn a badge!
Booking Information:
- Visits for community and recreational groups usually last half a day or as an evening visit.
- Cost of visit - no charge for community and recreational group visits, however donations are welcome.
- Toilets, hand washing basins and a fully accessible toilet are available within the Field Centre building.
- The visit will be led by Field Centre Staff, who all have enhanced DBS checks.
- Risk assessments will be sent out with booking information.
